This wine has a deep garnet-red color with brilliant highlights. The nose is rich and complex, with notes of roasted coffee and liquorice, quickly joined by greedier flavors of ripe red fruit and candied fruit (prunes). Full-bodied and fresh on the palate, with a fine finish and silky tannins that give it good length.
